With more than half of the 5,607 NCAA Division-I men’s college basketball players officially in the transfer portal, this marks a new era of the sport, one defined by constant movement, opportunity and uncertainty.

Kansas State Guard Enters Transfer Portal
P.J. Haggerty, a 6-foot-4 redshirt junior guard, entered the transfer portal with a ton of experience. He’s played for TCU, Tulsa and Memphis and after his run with the Wildcats he’ll be ready for whoever needs his scoring abilities. He averaged 23.4 points per game this season and every team could use a guard like him.

All-Big 12 Honorable Mention Guard Enters Draft While Maintaining NCAA Eligibility
Utah standout guard Terrence Brown entered the transfer portal after a breakout junior season, while also declaring for the NBA Draft and maintaining his college eligibility. Brown emerged as one of the most dynamic guards in the country, averaging 19.9 points and 3.8 assists per game.
Former First Round NBA Draft Pick Enters Portal
Former first-round pick James Nnaji is entering the portal, making his rare story even crazier. Selected in the 2023 NBA Draft, the 7-foot center is known for his size, mobility and defensive instincts as a rim protector. Nnaji immediately becomes one of the most intriguing big men available.

Syracuse Star Forward Emerges As One of the Top Transfer Portal Talents
Syracuse star forward Donnie Freeman entered the portal after a breakout sophomore campaign in which he averaged 16.5 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-9 Washington, D.C. native emerged as a consistent scoring threat, combining size with touch around the rim and improving perimeter ability. With his production and upside, Freeman immediately becomes one of the most sought-after forwards available.
Texas A&M Big Guard Declares for Portal
Rubén Dominguez entered the season as a shooting specialist and delivered in his first year at Texas A&M, averaging 10.2 points while knocking down 40 percent from three. The 6-foot-6 sophomore started 27 games and proved he can space the floor at a high level in the SEC. With his size and perimeter shooting, Dominguez will be a valuable plug-and-play option for programs in need of wing scoring.
Canes Guard Hits the Transfer Portal
After a steady junior season at Miami, Tru Washington enters the portal as an experienced guard with proven production. The Phoenix native averaged 11.9 points and 4.0 rebounds per game while shooting 44.3 percent from the field, continuing his upward trajectory after starting his career at New Mexico. With his size, scoring ability and experience across multiple programs, Washington presents a reliable backcourt option for teams looking to add depth and versatility.

Sacramento State Guard Enters Portal
After averaging 18.2 points, 3.7 assists, 7.4 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game this season, Prophet Johnson is entering the transfer portal. He led Sacramento State in all of the mentioned categories under coach Mike Bibby.
Kentucky Freshman Out After One Season in Lexington
Andrija Jelavic, a 6-foot-11 freshman forward, is entering the transfer portal after one season under coach Mark Pope. While he started more than half of Kentucky’s games, his production wasn’t what he’d hoped, only averaging 5.5 points per game.
