As the madness of the Big Dance begins to wind down, the chaos of the portal has only just begun.
With the dead period in progress, halting visits until next Thursday, players have continued to enter the portal at a breakneck pace. In fact, the number of total entries surpassed 1,800, with over 1,600 players still available.
So, here are the top 10 men’s hoopers available in the portal, brought to fans via a partnership between The Portal Report and HoopsHQ.
- RJ Luis Jr., 6-foot-7 junior guard, Saint John’s
When Rick Pitino decided to bench Luis, St. John’s leading scorer, down the stretch in the Red Storm’s second-round loss to Arkansas, he sent shockwaves around the college basketball world. Yes, Luis finished that game 3-of-17 from the field, but people still wondered: How could a coach bench his star in the closing minutes? How would Luis react?
Just under a week after the loss, Luis announced his intention to enter the transfer portal, a decision that stemmed from coaching issues and a lack of support from the fan base, per reports. Luis, who began his career with a season at UMass, averaged 18.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game this season.
Michigan State, Kansas, Kentucky, Creighton and Louisville reportedly have shown interest in Luis, the Big East Player of the Year and a Miami native, according to Brody Sheetz.

- Mouhamed Dioubate, 6-foot-7 sophomore forward, Alabama
After a nondescript freshman season, when he averaged about eight minutes per game, Dioubate flashed in his role off the bench for Nate Oats this season.
Dioubate averaged about 16 minutes per contest in a loaded Crimson Tide lineup this season and showed a tendency to perform at his best in high-pressure situations. Dioubate, from Queens, N.Y., had 10 points and 16 rebounds in an overtime victory against Houston and added 13 and eight in a SEC Tournament quarterfinal win over Kentucky.
Wildcats coach Mark Pope is showing interest in Dioubate, according to KSR.

- Nijel Pack, 6-foot senior guard, Miami (FL)
Pack, an Indianapolis native, is back in the transfer portal.
Pack played two seasons at Kansas State, then spent the past three at Miami. But he was limited to nine games this season because of injuries.
He has averaged in double figures in each of his five seasons. In three of those seasons, he shot better than 40 percent from 3-point range in four of them he shot better than 80 percent from the free throw line.
Look for a contender in need of an experienced backcourt scorer to target Pack.

- Flory Bidunga, 6-foot-9 freshman forward, Kansas
As Auburn was preparing for its Final Four matchup against Florida, it also was considered to be the top suitor for Bidunga, 247Sports’ Travis Branham reported. Per the same report, a return to Kansas remains on the table, with Branham viewing it as the second-most likely option for Bidunga.
Bidunga, who was a top-15 recruit in the class of 2024, averaged 5.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game with the Jayhawks; he started six games. Most notably, Bidunga had a career-high 19 points in a tight battle with Houston.
- Duke Miles, 6-foot-2 senior guard, Oklahoma
Miles opened his college career with three seasons at Troy, then moved on to High Point. After averaging 17.5 points at High Point a season ago, Miles transferred to Oklahoma, where he started every game and averaged just under 10 points per game.
A native of Montgomery, Ala., he received a plethora of interest upon entering the portal, including from Creighton, Ole Miss, Colorado, Seton Hall, Virginia Tech, Missouri and Vanderbilt. Miles has scheduled visits to Virginia, Penn State, Memphis and DePaul thus far.

- Jacari White, 6-foot-3 senior guard, North Dakota State
White has narrowed his potential transfer list to five high-major options: Houston, Virginia Tech, Texas, Ole Miss and West Virginia.
After beginning his career in junior college, White – an Orlando native – showed immense improvement in his three seasons at NDSU. White started all but two games this season and averaged a career-high 17.1 points per game.
Keep an eye on Sean Miller (Texas) and Ross Hodge (WVU), new coaches at their schools, to aggressively pursue White.
- Daimion Collins, 6-foot-9 junior forward, LSU
An Atlanta, Texas, native who began his career as a five-star recruit at Kentucky, Collins rebounded nicely this season, averaging 8.0 points per game, after a dislocated shoulder kept him out of all but six games in 2023-24.
Collins scored 29 points in two games against Ole Miss this season, so it’s no wonder that Ole Miss coach Chris Beard had high praise. With Collins in the portal, expect Beard – also a native Texan – and his staff to be in pursuit.

- Amarri Monroe, 6-foot-7 junior forward, Quinnipiac
Monroe, the MAAC Player of the Year this season, has narrowed his list to six: Rutgers, UConn, Miami, Ole Miss, Pitt and Kansas, according to TiptonEdits.
Monroe, who led Quinnipiac in points (18.1), rebounds (9.1) and steals (2.3) this season, when he scored at least 20 points 17 times. He started his career with one season at Wofford before spending the past two with the Bobcats.
- Allen Mukeba, 6-foot-6 senior forward, Oakland
Mukeba spent one season at a junior college, then two at Missouri-Kansas City before averaging a career-high 14.6 points per game for Oakland this season.
A native of Belgium, Mukeba showcased an ability to perform against tough competition this season, scoring 19 against Kansas and 17 against Arkansas.
- Aidan Mahaney, 6-foot-3 junior guard, UConn
After two seasons with Saint Mary’s and one at UConn, Mahaney announced his intention to enter the portal for a second time while also declaring for the Draft.
Mahaney, who did not hire an agent for the draft process, averaged 13.9 points per contest each season with the Gaels. But he played a limited role with UConn and averaged just under five points per game. Look for a team in need of a shooter to take a chance on Mahaney, who can be inconsistent.
